Fee allocation
Every $TPAD trade pays a 3% creator tax. The revenue is received in ETH and allocated as follows:
| Share | Allocation | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| 50% | Community | Rewards, airdrops and covering launch fees for builders |
| 20% | Team | Core contributors |
| 10% | Buyback & burn | ETH is used to buy $TPAD, which is then burned |
| 10% | Servers | Infrastructure and uptime |
| 10% | Marketing | Growth and partnerships |

Why this split
The largest share goes back to the people using Townpad. It pays for free launches from October 8, 2026 and funds community rewards, so more trading on $TPAD means more support for new builders.
Buyback & burn
Because the tax is collected in ETH, the burn portion is used to buy $TPAD from the market, and the purchased $TPAD is sent to a dead address. Burn transactions will be linked on Security & official links.
